  1. What is the difference from your Specialty Java brand and your Jo Coffee brand? Our Jo Coffee brand items are the exact same coffees and simply selections from our Specialty Java - Fair Trade Organics category. They are just packaged under the Jo Coffee label. The Jo Coffee brand is available wholesale to grocers, retailers and fundraisers. Our Jo Coffee brand is also distributed nationwide through Amazon Free Shipping.

  2. How do coffee beans differ from harvest-to-harvest? This is very similar to grape harvests in the making of wine. That is part of the fun of new tastes. Coffee beans can vary each harvest to harvest, shipment to shipment and even lot to lot.

  3. Why do you offer different bag sizes? We offer a variety of bag sizes to fit every desire. Our bag sizes provide you the most coffee for your shipping dollar. The best shipping values per pound are with 30 oz. and larger sizes. We offer discounted shipping on 80 oz. bags for retail customers in all states. Click for shipping discounts.   4. How fast will I receive my coffee? Time-in-transit is determined by the shipper you chose. Retail consumer orders will be roasted and shipped within 1 or 2 business days after you placed your order. We create the roasting plan each morning at 7:30 AM CT. If you place an order shortly before the morning deadline, it is possible your order could be roasted & shipped the same day. We are closed on weekends and holidays which may include a weekday before or after the actual holiday date, such as Thanksgiving Day and the after. During very high volume periods (e.g. holidays) additional delays are possible and we recommend allowing extra time during holiday periods. You will receive an email when your order has shipped.
     

  5. How often do you roast coffee? We roast and ship your coffee fresh every weekday. If the roastery will be closed more than a couple days for maintenance or vacation, we will send advance notices to JavaClub Forum subscribers of the schedule.
     

  6. Can I order over the telephone? Yes. Call us with your order at 1.888.586.JAVA and we will process your credit card order securely.
     

  7. Will you accept checks or money orders? Yes. We will be happy to roast and ship your order after we receive your payment. Submit your order online and it will generate an order number. Please include that order number on your check and mail it to:

  8. Where will you ship your coffee? We offer shipping options in the shopping cart to the entire United States and any U.S. protectorate including military APO addresses. Shipping options are limited to Hawaii and Alaska. We also have a local pickup option.
     

  9. Do you ship to P.O. Boxes? If you choose U.S.P.S as your shipper, you can use a P.O. Box address. Your Postal Carrier may leave you a notice instead of leaving your package at your door. The customer is responsible for any packages left at their door.
     

  10. Do you sell to coffee shops, cafes or restaurants? Yes. Please visit the wholesale page or call 1.888.586.JAVA for details and to set up an account.
     

  11. Why should I create an online account? Benefits include exclusive discounts offered to Java Junkie Forum subscribers, ability to view your complete order history and to save billing/shipping addresses for quick reordering.
     

  12. How can I Manage My Account, View Order Status, View Tracking Numbers and View Order History? Log in from the Customer Login link. You will see a link on the left side of the page to Manage Your Account and Your Order History & Tracking.
     

  13. How do I redeem a Gift Certificate? Select products online and proceed to checkout until you see the Gift Certificates box. The following 3 steps must be done before clicking Continue Checkout at the bottom of the page. 1. Enter the entire Key in Gift Certificate text field. 2 Select a Shipping Option from the drop-down list. 3. Select Credit Card type from the drop-down list even if Certificate covers entire purchase. Then Click Redeem and wait for screen to refresh. If Certificate value exceeds product and shipping costs, the system will return a message to confirm the order. If product and shipping costs exceed the Certificate value, the system will prompt you for your name and credit card number to complete the order for the remaining balance due. Any remaining Certificate Value is retained in the system.
